COTTON STATES

This is a small portion of the Confederates, just as many Federals, over 6,000 were registered. There was over 100 cannon and it was noisy. When the muskets went off it sounded like sheets ripping. This was the 150th anniversary of the battle of Shiloh, the Yankees called it Pittsburg landing. The war of Northern Aggression could have ended here if the Confederate General would have listened to Nathan Bedford Forrest and moved another 200 yds. If wishes were horses, dreamers would fly.

  1. Nathan Bedford Forrest was the most naturally talented General in the war. His greatness is generally overlooked because of his post war activities. We win because "we git thar fastest with the mostest."...
