Attacking Libya without a goal, leadership, or and exit plan, reminds me of Jimmy Carter rescuing the hostages in Iran. He tried to involve all branches of our military, any one branch would have been successful, but with no clear leader it was a failure. When Ronald Reagan put his hand on the Bible the hostages were released. The U.S. mission is clear as mud, no boots on the ground, pants on the ground. I'm afraid the U.S. will have the same success as a bow legged farmer trying to hem a hog.

After the United States delayed action against Libya for eight days. Muammar Qaddafi wrote" To our son, his excellency, Mr Barack Hussein Obama". If the United States attacks Libya you will always be our son. When our President get's back from spring break in Rio I expect him to write back. Come pitch your tent in Chicago, where you will be protected as well as the New Black Panthers. In return for this protection you can teach me how to retain power for forty years. I can also make you a Czar of finance, don't forget to bring your money. Sincerely your left handed, pork eating, half caucasian son, Barack Hussein Obama.

PRIORITY

With the problems in the world, the Middle East, the economy crumbling, and the disaster in Japan. Our President writes an opinion piece in an Arizona newspaper about gun control. Gun's are not the problem, people that should not have gun's are. This was possibly to divert attention away from BATFE knowingly allowing Mexican drug dealers to have full automatic weapons from the United States. One of these weapons was reportedly used to kill one of our border patrol agents. The United States has enough oil and coal for at least a thousand years, if we are going to kick the can down the road try that one. Our President should be a leader and a decision maker during these trying times. Instead he is spending time writing about inanimate objects, and worrying which hand a Muslim wipes with.

MR. WHIT

Mr. Whit lived across from Bear Branch in Hurdlow. He lived in a shack with about six dogs, and raised fishing worms on his porch in half whiskey barrels. About twice a week he would load his, 54 Chevy with rod and reels, and his dogs. They would come to the river and fish at the lower place. The reels were bait casting with braided line, mostly J.C. Higgins. He used 3/4 oz flat river sinkers, and baited with mussels or worms. He would fish above Smith Island for Suckers, Red Horse, and Drum. They would be six rods in the water, propped up with forked sticks, waiting for a bite. The only time this routine varied was when March Red Horse were shoaling below the bridge. This took teamwork, the men of the community would bring there grab poles, strapped to there cars or pickups. This was a long bamboo pole with about twelve hooks and a large sinker used to snatch Red Horse or Suckers. A spotter had to climb a tree that went over the river, the one they used below the bridge was a sycamore with boards nailed to aid the climbing. They would fish during the day and have a fish fry at night. As for as I knew Mr.Whit never had any stress related problems, although he was always perplexed how Sears and Roebuck could sell you a washer and dryer, and you could save twenty five dollars.

WATERSHED SIGNS

I have been pondering for a long time, about the function of the watershed signs on the interstate. They are located at every river, creek, or body of water the interstate crosses. I initially thought the signs were a colossal waste of taxpayers money. But after the floods in Nashville, and the Corps of Engineers diverting the water down the interstates, I finally saw the relevance. When global warming hits, and the glaciers melt, the Corps of Engineers will again direct the water down the interstates. The water will see the signs, and know where to go.

I saw on the interstate, five used Detroit diesel engines on a flat bed and wondered where they were going. After investigating I discovered they were headed to China, we cannot use them here because they do not pass the EPA requirements for emission. The Chinese are not as fortunate as us, to have Al Gore scare them with the unfortunate truth about Global Warming. How long can our country survive buying cheap goods, and oil from other countries that don't play by the same rules?I don't think we are in danger of being taken over by another country, with the dumbing down of our education system, and over half of the people voting for our President, who would want us?

NEW DIRECTION

In the late seventy's The Department of Energy was formed, also The Department of Education. These two agency's were founded to decrease our dependency on oil, and improve the education of our children. Clearly both agency's have failed miserably, and it is time to abolish them. Our country's energy supply is linked to National Security. It is time we provided our own energy, and quit allowing rich towel headed camel jockey's to determine the price of oil. We provide security for these countries, and the vast amounts of money we provide is used against us. It's time to abolish slavery for good. Each child that is a citizen of the U.S. should be provided with enough money, in voucher form to provide for his or her education. The different educational institutions would compete for this money. The parent's would choose the institution, but the institution by test, and behavior would have final approval.
