UNFUNDED MANDATES
In an earlier post I suggested eliminating two laws in congress before one new bill could be passed. This would decrease government regulation, and cut down our spending provided the laws eliminated, saved more than the new bill cost. The elimination of unfunded mandates on all levels, Federal, State, and Local would make our Representatives more responsible, reduce our regulation, and increase our economy. This would make our Justice system work more effectively with less laws to deal with. I would suggest doing away with the Federal Department of Education, and the EPA first, and pass a new law requiring the looser of a civil lawsuit to pay all the lawyer fees.

I agree...
ReplyDelete- Department of Education...take 30% of the money saved (that is probably used for administrative purposes and no teacher or student ever sees it) and reduce the budget deficit. Send the remainder to the state school systems.
- EPA...get rid of all of it...all the savings go to the deficit. Small businesses are already getting hit $1500 a year from the state EPA.
- Civil Lawsuit...agree!
I am not against civil lawsuits, I am against money grubbing parasites on society that try to milk productive members of society by using "ambulance chasing", bottom feeding lawyers to use the legal system to gain an undeserved dollar.
